Phantasma

Phantasma is perhaps the most brutal and aggressive member of the Bloodscale Tribe, a testament unto itself considering the other members of the clan. She is a riled creature who lives only to cause torment unto others, a trait that is kept in check only by Obsidious himself. Originally Phantasma was an interloper with no clan or family of her own, hunting for her next victim and happening upon the fringe Crystalspine Reaches. This marked the suspicious disappearances of some of the younger members of Obsidious' clan during his early days of building an army of his own, which did not go unnoticed. After several days and some mangled corpses later, she was finally captured and subdued. Despite her intrusion, Obsidious was impressed with her display, and gave her an ultimatum: serve him or die. Intrigued by the random assortment of dragon outcasts before her, Phantasm eagerly accepted a life of eternal servitude under the "Mad King" himself. It is believed that Obsidious had planned to cull the weaker links of his Tribe anyways, so it was a two-birds-one-stone deal.

Nowadays Phantasma is one of the highest ranking members of the Bloodscale Tribe, following Obsidious and Umbron. She acts as a drill sergeant for any new recruits seeking to join the clan, a position that has yielded more of body count than new members, but those who have passed her cruel tests have proven themselves more than worthy of Obsidious' own expectations. This has given her more respect and trust than Umbron, whom Phantasma constantly scoffs and teases with. They are somewhat mates as of now, though the relationship is more so out of their leader expecting cooperation, else they would face his wrath if they tear his army apart with petty spats.

Phantasma is a fast physical attacker who uses the shadows as her weapon. Her dark colors and shockingly silent approach to a battle makes it difficult for her foes to keep up with her, only to become terrified by the display of ferocious bites and slashes accompanied by shrill laughter and echoing shrieks. While Phantasma loves to toy with her prey and cut them apart piece-by-piece, she is more than capable of a quick kill. Her favorite manner of finishing off an enemy is to sap their strength to restore her own in a vamperic manner.
