Original Bio
Zelda was not made for the stage, and she is fine with that. The lights are too bright for her, too hot, and she cannot stand the sense of a thousand eyes staring. It feels too much like judgement, and there is so much of her to judge.
It’s not that she's entirely amoral- she certainly understands what morality is, and she understands why most people would prefer you kept to it, she just finds the whole process exhausting. The high road is a slow, arduous, painful trek- the low road is so much faster, so much simpler. She's come to embrace this truth - some people are made for epic struggles, some are made to stand against them.
For every story there must be a villain, and she welcomes the role with open arms and no fear of the fall that must eventually become her. In the meantime, there is much to enjoy- good food, good company, and money she keeps more for counting than spending. All she has to do is take it, right up until someone stops her.

- she's not actually evil, she just
- very petty, loves revenge
- she was raised as an amazing actress and 100% uses it to her advantage
- with most dragons, she has a certain image she wants them to have of her and works very hard to keep up that image
- she likes being viewed as this nefarious schemer, but in reality she just loves the attention- so much so that she changed herself; her colours, her genes, even her eyes are different from those of her parents and siblings. it's all for that attention, all so she can stand out and mark herself as different from her family. but you can't really shake off your blood, can you?
- (her need for attention and awe if she can't get praise probably stems from some mother/father issues she has due to 'failing' to live up to Halcyon and Gilderoy's expectations and leaving the stage and show business, even if it was the right move for her)
- she doesn't like showing her true self and true colours
- (perhaps builds friendship with akaashi since they're similar in that regard)
- she was...persuaded (read: blackmailed) by Nezumi into joining his theatre. she doesn't do every show, and they're usually small parts, but she was still initially against it; she left her parents to get away from the stage, why would she get back onto one now? but Nezumi was relentless and didn't care about her excuses, and she's found that she doesn't mind it as much as she thought she would. Nezumi's also proven that he has her back, so there's that too. she still thinks he's a jerk, but a caring jerk, in his own way.
