Born from Baldwin's cauldron, Quara is a mix of dragon and various deep sea creatures. This was due to Baldwin not cleaning out the cauldron properly and having left residue of said sea creatures in it. The residue ended up absorbed into the developing egg, resulting in Quara's curious form.

She has an interest in wires and durability of said wires in high pressure environments as well as in liquids. However, she won't pass up an opportunity to experiment on machinery in general to make it more functional too. While the current wiring and machinery has some degree of protection, Quara's goal is to make it so that maintaining them are fair easier and more resilient.

She'll often be seen moving equipment of her design into the underwater depths and on occasion she'll surface with an annoyed expression on her face due to a failed experiment. She's able to breathe underwater, so staying in the depths for long periods of time aren't unheard of.

Quara's content to be by herself and sometimes has trouble talking to others; she's blunt and forward (which Kastra thinks highly about...well other than her devotion to her job). This can be off putting towards more sensitive dragons. She means well and does appreciate if those that have a problem talk with her about it. That way both parties can hash out any problems and hopefully better understand each other.

Quara is in a casual relationship with Cedar, which works best for the two as he's often busy with helping his mentor Citrine and she's working on new and better underwater machines.
