About
Velamork belongs to the order that planted the August in the first place, and has served as its watcher for decades. When Elohim and his clan arrived he let them make the August their home in exchange for promising their unyielding loyalty to protect the giant tree against all harm. Being the head botanist of The Children, Velamork is seldom seen outside his gardens, where he keeps himself busy researching his poisonous and healing plants. Nothing can compare to the work he's done for The Children in terms of researching and exploring the flora of the world - but having been so engrossed in the gardens and traveling, he's but a phantom in the social aspect of the clan. He's a wallflower at big events, and nobody seems to ever get to know him. He's immensely solitary, prefering the company of plants and bugs. He uses his expertise in plants and his skills in light magic to work as a healer when needed. Velamork has been with The Children since the very beginning as a faithful friend to Elohim, yet only recently has he opened up to a few other dragons. He's slowly taken the assisting botanist Belurielle under his wing and, growing old, finally decided to find himself a mate - Marmandie, Accoring to Belurielle, he is most definitely, without a doubt, a flower. She's the least skilled botanist in the clan, but makes sure he never runs out of sweet grass, which he's frequently seen chewing.
