______ Peace is hard to come by when one can hear the minds of others. If Agatha doesn't concentrate the words rush into her mind like a raging river. Noisy, jumbled, chaotic to say the least. She hates her ability that was brought to her by the runes on her body. The power developed at a young age and ever since she taught herself to meditate and block it all out. One might think it was a wonderful ability to have, hearing the thoughts of those around her, however she never could identify just who was thinking them. The thoughts are whispered to her with no direction, no hint of where they originated.

______ She tends to keep this ability a secret so the others felt comfortable around her. If word got out, they might become suspicious thinking she was looking into the depths of their thoughts. She began to avoid people more and more, it was far too stressful to process what they were saying out loud when she was so busy concentrating on keeping the voice of their thoughts out. Many considered her strange or enchanting because of this and some became curious and only bothered her more.

______ In the end, Agatha started to leave her lair to find out more about magic from her mentor Hiawatha. She was fascinated by it all despite the fact that she hated her own ability, always marveling at the lengths that her mentor would go just to research magic. The more she studied, the more she understood her own situation. She would return to her lair for short amounts of time before heading out again to resume her learning. One day she hopes to be an expert on the subject and perhaps learn to develop her own power into something else. It has yet to be seen if such a thing was even possible.
