Burn-outs:
Neons who have ''lost'' their glow.
Burn-outs are generally born with very dull colors, instead of the vivid colors of their parents.
This is seen as a bad omen among Neons, and most offspring with this unfortunate coloring are sent to serve their respective deitys.
Flickers:
Neons whose glow is very faint, ''flickering''.
Flickers are extremely rare, because they are seen as a warning of the possible birth of a burn-out. Usually the parents will choose to never have another nest rather than risk being driven out of the lair for producing a burn-out. (The other Neons believing that they are cursed.)
Deep Dwellers
Neons whose main color is extremely dark. Often seen as mysterious by other neons.
Deep Dwellers seem to have a strong aversion to sunlight, hence their name. They thrive in the shadows and hidden places of the world.
