Biography

Molai
034.gif

1134.png Molai was a favorite of the thieves' guild. Despite his parents' protest, he was eager to learn the lucrative trade within the City of Shadows. And Orlaith, his parents' boss, was all too eager to train a fresh mind. And she didn't stop at just looting, just petty thievery. Like her biggest success, Cendre, she wanted someone who could do more than just steal. Molai, through her, learned the art of phytotoxins.

Phytotoxins are poisons derived from plants- something that Molai, as a nature dragon, had deft control over. Between tomes of stolen knowledge and his own nature magic derived from the imported hatchery materials his parents had taken, Molai gained a quick grasp of the material. His prized toxin was wolf's bane, also known as monkshood, which some foolish dragons would confuse for lavender. He would lace his arrows with the poison, strike from a distance, and be gone before the dawn woke his scales. He has accidentally brushed the poison on himself a couple times from when he was learning, resulting in black patches of dying scales. 195.png

21378.png Molai's parents were horrified when they found out all their boss had been teaching their young son. They desperately wanted to stop the path that Orlaith desired. They sent him away from the city, insisting he join his brother in some distant, more peaceful land. That he make something good of himself. To their surprise, he agreed without protest. And Orlaith simply let him go. Suspicious but unwilling to look a gift horse in the mouth, the parents let Molai leave. Little did they know, he was only leaving for a job. Not for his life.
