B I O G R A P H Y

Asnofre arrived at the Duskhollow Haven at a very young age. She had wandered away from her previous clan and become lost, and was found by Roksana, Yaotl, and Icnoyotl, who had just begun construction on the Haven's lair. She was highly curious and rambunctious as a hatchling. She grew closest to Dulcia, an energetic Spiral with a shared keen interest in how things worked. Once they were old enough, the two began dabbling in all sorts of machinery and construction, mostly in the context of attempting to repair old mechanisms and renovate damaged structures. This often got them in trouble, not from the work itself, but in the scavenging for materials and parts as they often wandered into Beastclan territory. Even so, these adventures proved insightful to them. Eventually, Asnofre was contracted as the Haven’s Engineer and Architect (a role she shared with Dulcia and Eiji).

Work was constant and intensive for a long time. The clan rapidly expanded within its first few months
of existence, dozens, even hundreds of dragons coming and going. Dens and other shelters were a must, and then there were other wants such as the leader’s platform, the stage, the barracks, familiar housing, and on and on. Asnofre didn’t have much time for much else beyond her work and time got away from her. Before she knew it, her remaining son had a daughter, and she was grown up and looking for her own place in the Haven. Hallow, her granddaughter, showed a great enthusiasm for her grandmother’s work and often followed her around when her parents were too busy to care for her. Asnofre saw great promise in her and took her on as an apprentice.

As she grew older, she passed on the majority of her work on to her granddaughter, but continues to aid the clan by training any new recruits. When not busy mentoring or consulting, she's known to wander off to go scavenging like she once did with Dulcia. The Shifting Expanse is abundant in abandoned scraps of machinery which she collects to restore, recycle, or remake into something new.

____Having grown up in the Duskhollow Haven since its inception, Asnofre holds a certain amount of sympathy for the Beastclans. She remembers the herds of centaurs that Roksana used to visit back near their lair in the Tangled Wood, and Thaleia, their centaurian ambassador, had been a long time friend to her. She tends to pity the Beastclans and is sad to see them attack the Haven. But often times she has to protect herself when out scavenging, though it grieves her to fell any living creature with her own claws.

____COREbot stands for "Core Operations Repair & Engineering Robot". Asnofre had found the broken machine in one of her scavenging excursions and brought it back, repaired, and named it. The more superstitious of the lair believe the machine was sent to her by the Stormcatcher himself as reward for her good work.
