"Contrariwise..."

This dapper and refined fellow wended his way to the Starfall Isles in search of a place to sell his magnificent hats. He was surprised when he happened upon the Stitchery in Lantern Port, for two of the proprietors, Yew and Ember, looked rather familiar - it turned out they were the elder brothers of a young skydancer he knew in his birth clan of Maserift. Pleased with this connection and deciding that fate had led him there, he negotiated a space in their shop to make and sell his excellent hats.

He can often be found arguing with the dragons who run Copper Coffee, as he finds tea infinitely superior, though he agrees that pastries are delicious. The coatl tends to be a bit eccentric and can also be found talking to or debating with inanimate objects.

Rettah is quite bemused that other dragons in the clan keep mistaking him for an underworld spirit. He does admire the spirits' strongly contrasting black and white coloration - so elegant, so like his own - but similar aesthetic does not equate them, as he is fond of reminding those who are puzzled when they learn he is just a mortal coatl.
