His arrival to Mei's clan is marked by his job as the peacemaker. There was a merchant ship raided by pirates. Although he was not a warrior in the literal sense, he is a descendant of a Night Warrior. Years of discipline and training gave him an air of authority, easily establishing command over a rag tag group of able bodied fighters to fend of the pirate. Amidst the chaos, a imperial stood out with her gutsy efforts to trick armed pirates to rescue hostages. He was applauded for his calm and decisive protection and Marshal Mei was especially pleased to welcome him within her rank. This incident marked him famous before he was announced to be the peacemaker of the clan. As such he is well respected and many seek his aid to solve disputes.

Since then he has also garnered the attention of local, a wily fox Vitaliya. She has meddled in his work and affairs on multiple occasion, always harmless but the methods she employs to help... really doesn't fit his brand of justice and order. He felt conflicted. On one hand he grew fond of this bandit who used to cause mischief and disorder would now offer genuine help when he needed it most. Eventually he relented, as long as she keeps her pranks harmless and avoid any form of lawbreaking activity within his area of rule (The Covert's lair).
