Ignis' Theme: The End? - Sherlock Holmes II

______ As one of the smartest (if not the smartest) Ignis was chosen to be the strategist of the lair. There isn't much strategy work to do in a wind lair, so he also takes care of the logistics. But IF the lair is under attack, the strategy is already planned out and it's up to the fighters to protect it. He's a hard working dragon, able to deliver peak performance even when he's under pressure. He thinks fast and never lets his guts take control over a life threatening situation. He's also attentive and realizes every change in his environment no matter how small it is. Sometimes the dragons call him specs, especially the young ones. He doesn't mind, in fact he doesn't even care. Every unnecessary thing is eradicated from his mind to make place for new knowledge. Which is maybe one of the reasons for why he's an extremely aromantic dragon. He doesn't mean it in a mean way and doesn't appear snobby or anything at all. In fact he is not too happy about the fact that he's simply not able to love another dragon in a romantic way. Nayrune says it can be relaxing when there's not always a lovey, dovey dragon around her but sometimes she wishes he would show his love a little bit more. On the other hand he helps her with every problem she has, be it mental or physical it doesn't matter, she can count on him. Living together with Ignis is more of a boundless trust and loyalty kind of relationship. Both he and Nayrune aren't together most of the time and spend a great part in other lairs or traveling around. They agreed to allow their mate some "adventures" and Ignis sure doesn't care about the gender of his partners. Nayrune only allows it to him because she knows (she is a clairvoyant after all) he won't leave her for another dragon, she herself is grateful for the freedom he gives her, but only loves him and thus won't let another dragon close to her. What she's unaware of is that even Ignis doesn't make a lot of use of his freedom.
