Only the gifted few may practice the art of blood written by Cove For the power of the blood to awaken from the dormant state inside its host, a trigger known as the hardening must occur. The host must be placed in a deadly situation and lose to the point where their life hangs in the balance at the hands of the enemy. The power will shift inside of them and the host will awaken their latent abilities, enabling to defeat their opponent with ease, however for the awakening to be permenantly, a wound must remain on their body, never to be closed up forcefully or the power of the blood will cease to work. In return, infection nor loss of blood from that particular wound will occur unless the host purposely draws out their own blood for their own use. Cairin sought out an organised bandit group in the depths of the city, provoked and caused damage to their members and property. Naturally he was bound and his throat slit. Upon his awakening, he beheaded the entire bandit group and bursting the arteries and veins of the leader letting him perish slowly. Now free he decided to help himself to the bandits treasure hoards, adorning himself in gold and silk. Working in the present as a hit man, always mockingly relieving his targets by stating that at least "they" didnt send his crazy sister and they should be lucky they got him. |
