XEHNON
Whisper Captain
Sweet, lovable, strict, and strong- these are all words that have been used to describe Xehnon. He came from the same orphanage that Nyss and Navani came from; word from them had reached his ears, and he wanted to see the same clan that they had fallen in love with. He was initially very nervous and cautious, spending his days skirting around the others who were busy, and exploring every nook and cranny that he could.
One day while he was exploring, he came across a door in a far off corner that was locked. Curious, he kept coming back, each day trying the doorknob to see if it would open. One day, it finally did. He stepped inside, just to find himself face to face with what seemed to be a large wooden wall. Pushing his head around the corner, he peered into the rest of the room, just to pull back quickly to avoid being smacked with what appeared to be a book.
Before he knew it, he became fast friends with Rama. He didn't mind sitting for hours listening as Rama rambled about who knows what, fluttering around the room trying to find one thing or another. Soon they were unpartable, living their lives together as bonded mates. Xehnon couldn't imagine it happening any differently. Together they bought a boat and moved all of the important books and papers out of the one small cramped room into the most perfect boat possible.
He was the captain of the new boat, and he loved it. Together, they named it Whisper, after the rumour that you had to be quiet in libraries, because that was what the boat was more than anything else; a library. They continued their normal routine, sailing alongside theWayward Alliance, now finally with their own space.
Over time Xehnon opened up more to the rest of the clan, but he still sheltered his heart away from anyone but his mate. Together they worked- apart, they failed. Now he has more friends, but Whisper always takes full priority, along with his family.
During one expedition, they found a young Pearlcatcher hatchling named Rasui. When Xehnon was hurt, in a situation that he had never fully talked about, they had to take Rasui along with them. He soon became their adopted child, and its commonsight to see him bouncing around the library, helping wherever he can while Rama and Xehnon spoil him near rotten.

It was a very crowded room, with barely enough room for him and the other dragon to stand without standing on top of each other. He took in the other dragon quickly; a skydancer with a crystal hide that tinkled with every move, gembond glittering in the light from the lamp... He was no doubt one of three siblings who was rumoured to have caused quite a stir when they were younger. |

| Now Xehnon may walk around with a slight limp and bears scars telling of untold battles, but he has a constant reminder that he is loved, and forever will love. Rama is his light, Rasui the stars that keep him alight during dark times. Xehnon's most precious possession is an Ornate Darksteel Bracelet that he received from Rama after the attack that helps cover some of the scars- bringing new, happy memories to block out the sad ones. |
