Biography

RAMA
Clan Writer

Rama is known as the clan's only writer. He resides on Whisper, a boat that is more of a moving library then an actual residence, his nose always in some old text or writing down stories that others narrate to him. The only thing he hasn't written about is the strange adventures and sticky situations him and his two clutchmates got into all the time when they were young. He is more than willing to help others write down their stories, for an appropriate fee of course.

His personality is not pleasant to someone who doesn't know him well. He tends to be short, opinionated, and dismissive. He doesn't like taking a long time on anything, unless its squeezing all the details possible out of a story, so he's quick to decide and quick to get impatient. Most don't know how to deal with him, and he'll quickly steamroller them over and move on to something new. Once you're used to this, though, he's quite easy to deal with. Just stay cheerful, don't get intimidated, and be snappy with what you have to ask.

He grew up on The Wayward, and so feels most comfortable on a boat. He often takes trips to the shore to gather some more supplies or to track down a rare tome, but he never goes too far away and prefers to wait until the fleet is close to pursue leads.

Only two dragon has completely broken down his walls and found their way to his heart, and one of them is Xehnon. Xehnon leaves him in peace when he needs it, but ensures he takes care of himself properly. They are perfect companions, as Rama also finds it quite relaxing to just listen to Xehnon talk when he wants to. Xehnon gifted him his well loved bracelets that he never takes off.

Together they adopted a hatchling named Rasui, who is the second dragon Rama has let himself drop his guard around. Rasui helps Rama with keeping his library organized, and will sit for hours while Rama rambles about another theory he created, or a book he had read. In turn, Rama will indulge Rasui in most if not all of his wants, though he gives him plenty of learning experiences.
