Zircon first came to Clan Starslang after one of the young fae from his previous clan ran away to join Natalia's Monarchs. Unfortunately, not even he was able to persuade Narcissus out from under the sway of Natalia to come back home.

Although Zircon returned to Stormsong, he made many return trips to check in on Narcissus and make sure he was doing well for the sake of his parents who couldn't come themselves because of their severe phobia of the buttersnakes that thrive in and around the area.

Eventually, he ended up spending more and more time away from Stormsong, taking longer and longer stays and finally decided to move in permanently. His then-mate Opal took it very well, and although their relationship didn't survive the move, they are still very close. There's nobody special in Zircon's life in Clan Starslang for now (or so he says anyway).

AS well as being a seasoned diplomat and warrior, Zircon's not too shabby in the kitchen department. When he isn't battling or visiting old friends, it's not uncommon to find him whipping up some treats for the younger members of the clan. His patience has lead him to being dragged into many a tea party with hatchlings.
