Kodiak can be a bit complicated to understand with his mood swings sometimes. But he is a good leader together with his mate Umbrea who he love with whole his heart, something he did not know he was capable off. He can be very stubborn at times but can set it aside at times.He does not show it but he is very insecure inside and emotional and is afraid to be left alone.

He and his older brother Deidara had a difficult past and the two have a bit of a tens relationship but deep down Kodiak cares a lot for him . but does not show it a lot.
