Biography
Yang
He who Seeks only Kindness.
Yang refused to allow his sister to be the representative of the Spiral faction all on her own, forcing the council to allow both of them or someone else. The rest of the Spiral faction refused to choose anyone else, deeming both brother and sister fit to negotiate terms and make agreements quickly. They considered Yin to be the more logical and straightforward of the two while Yang would be the more open minded one.
Yang has always been a people pleaser, always having been the one begging for their fathers attention. Yang started out as a young dragon desperate to prove to his father that he could be just like him, that he to could have abilities thought to be impossible. Magic came quickly to Yang, just like with his sister Yin. He favored his father more than he did his nursery mother because of his fathers interest in healing magic, the ability to heal has always called out to him because of his kind and friendly disposition. He never considered that fighting would be a good way to help his tribe or his family, allowing the ability to heal to be his main concern and goal in his life.
Although he had never met his mother he was still crushed by her death, impacted so deeply that revenge became a topic of his every day thoughts. Although unlike his sister he still believed that healing magic was the way to go, he agreed to learn the art of war magic with her so she wouldn't be alone. He understood that revenge would get him nowhere, knew the pain of war magic, but he refused to allow his sister to follow in the steps to insanity just as their father had begun to do. His scars from war magic serve to remind him of his past and the lessons he has learned from them, the lesson that pain does not always gain anything but more pain. When his father explained that War magic was what killed his birth family he decided to forget it, begging his father to cast a magic on him that would not allow him to use it for fear of killing someone the way his father once had.
Yang has been glued to his sisters side since the day her mate left her, the death of his nieces and nephews having hit hard within the entire tribe. His mate Beig left him when she believed his attachment to his sister became unhealthy, leaving the tribe when she attempted to force him into choosing between the two. Yang believes that his true mate would understand the relationship he has with his sister and accept it, that his true mate would be unbothered by it and willing to be friends with his sister. Beig died not long after her departure from the tribe and even though she hurt him he was still devastated by her death. His children with Beig had all found homes in different tribes with mates of their own, his only connections to Beig had left him before even she had.
