She who seeks Boundless Knowledge.
Yin was chosen as a Council representative by her faction because of her quiet and thoughtful approach to the needs and well being of her tribe mates. She has always been a kind young dragon who has kept up with any information cycling throughout the tribe. She keeps logs and records of everything good or bad that happens within the tribe, even going so far as to have thousands of books she has used magic to write.
Yin started out as an exuberant and loud hatchling who was glued to their nursery mother's hip unlike her brother Yang who was glued to their father. When neither hatchling was with their favored person they were always a package deal, running around and causing chaos everywhere they went. On the anniversary of the day that their mother "died" both young dragons vowed to learn the art of healing magic, and behind their fathers back, war magic.
They did everything they could to hide the art of war magic from their father, a mage who had been skilled and considered one of the most deadly in the art of war. They forgot the physical signs that were left on their bodies, the ones they now hide behind their clothing and armor. Scars riddle the large expanses of scales on their bodies, scars they cant ever heal or get rid of. Their father told them of his story of going manic with rage and which resulted in the death of his birth family, it was war magic gone out of control. The two swore not to keep practicing such a dangerous magic, afraid to lose the only parent they had.
Yin vowed to only use the evil magic of war if it was dire, to protect her tribe and her family. Her brother Yang has never left her side since the day their father told them the story. They have been together ever since, even going so far as to have a nest together after her mate left her when she fell into a depression over the deaths of their children.
