Gnarr

The Mechanist

Of all the dragons in the clan Gnarr is perhaps the most curious. He spends much of his time amongst his machines and is well liked by the hatchlings of the clan both due to his exuberance, and for the toys and other curiosities that he creates.

He often spends much of his time traveling throughout the realms of Sorneith, looking for materials, inspirations and new curiosities that he can use in his inventions. Often times selling smaller trinkets, curios and mechanical toys at the different towns, markets and clans that he meets.

On occasion, Gnarr has been known to accept contracts to work for other clans or organisations when it seems as though his skills are required. Something the clan accepts both as a necessity of keeping a good working relationship with some of the dragons that they encounter and as a useful way of gathering insider information into the wider politics of Sorneith.

As a result, Gnarr's connections spread far wider than some outside of the clan might expect of the scatterbrained dragon. Sometimes working with smaller clans to help reinforce a collapsing wall, and other times working with larger projects as a mechanical engineer or consultant, such as during the Dustcarve Dig, Gnarr has an ability to find his way into interesting situations and interesting associations without much difficulty. It was here that Gnarr met his long term friend Neith, one of the few dragons in the clan that might attempt to be a match for Gnarr's sheer curiosity.

Most dragons in the clan know when Gnarr is visiting the main lair, for he is often surrounded by the pungent smell of the oil he uses to keep his creations running smoothly. If Rainbow is also in residence, the clan is simultaniously greated by the sound of the two rivals arguing echoing throughout the caverns.

When not travelling or hard at work, Gnarr enjoys exploring the waters off the northern coast of Dragonhome, seeing the interesting underwater landscapes Dragonhome has to offer.
