"Lux Est Memoriam had not yet begun as Wenshen arrived, however dragons poured into the center of the clan waiting for the festival to begin. Chatter and laughter stirred the crowd of dragons into a soft hum of energy, making the mass of beings thrive with excitement. Then without any warning, the lanterns around the town lit the area in soft warm light, as if by magic they flickered to life one by one. Many dragons cheered and exclaimed their joy aloud at the slight sign of the festivals beginning. As the stage was lit, dragons climbed onto the platform with instruments in hand, waving to the audience with large smiles. As the music started played, dragons grabbed onto partners and friends and turned the one idle mass of dragons into a moving sea of waltzing waves.
Wenshen had heard of the famous celebration and was encouraged to attend. The arcane clan could become a useful ally if given the chance. So there he was, alone on the side of the crowd unable to think of what to do next. His crimson eyes swept across the sea of dancing dragons as the music filled his ears with upbeat and lively melodies. Then he saw her, only a moment, a sweep of color and silks that was quickly drowned in the frothing waves of wings and dragon hides. Wenshen strained his eyes to see it again, needing to know what had caught his eyes.
She sparkled, glistened beneath the soft lighting provided by the lanterns hung above the dragons. Wenshen chest seized as his breathing hitched in his throat. He took a step forward as she turned towards him, her elegant face was delicate and her eyes bright and expressive behind dark lashes. The two met eyes and suddenly Wenshen felt as if all the air had been knocked from his lungs. She merely smiled at him and he felt as if his heart could suddenly combust inside his rib cage. She couldn't be real, couldn't be something tangible and within his reach. No, this girl had to be an illusion.
She greeted him with a hello, leaning close to his ear in order to be heard above the laughter and music. Her hot breath tickled his ear and sent a shudder rippling through his entire body, head to the tip of his tail and wings. Her voice was smooth, sweet and endearing, alluring him and sending his head into a whirlwind as his tongue knotted behind his teeth. She smelled of honey and lavender, of all things sweet and intoxicating. He felt as if the ground were spinning beneath his feet and he could loose his footing any second. However her eyes was what had entranced him the most.
Her eyes were of the Stormcatcher, aqua and round-shaped with dark eyelashes contrasting the electrifying blue. They shone and shimmered as they moved over his body, dancing as stars flicker in the sky. She was so bright, blinding him as he stood before dumbfounded and in awe. She was celestial, heavenly, the most captivating creature he had ever seen. She was so brilliant in luminescence, she could easily put the brightest star to shame and misery."
