B I O G R A P H Y

Queen of the Ancient

Mourner of Beasts

Antediluvian was one of the first gods. She was formed from the corpses of the Great Spirits and welcomed into existence by the first four gods. She got along well with the older gods and she helped Virtuous set up the Hierarchy of the Gods and agreed that Virtuous was their rightful Queen.

Ante worked with Virtuous to create life on the gods’ planet, Earth. They went through many different variations of creatures and took advice from all of the current gods until they finally settled on creatures that Ante designed herself. She had created feathered and scaled animals called dinosaurs. They were Ante’s magnum opus. They were her precious children.

She was so proud when all of the gods agreed her creations were the best mortals that they had ever seen. The gods were proud to rule these creatures. And they ruled them for 65 million years.

Until the asteroid.

Ante nor her children never saw it coming. She had no way to save them all as they perished. She managed to hide a few of the smaller ones, but she could do nothing for the majority of her beloved creatures. She was devastated.

Later she found out that the asteroid was planned.

King Ludicrous, the God of Space had purposely chucked the asteroid on to Earth to kill Ante’s creations. He did it on Virtuous’s orders. She wanted to create new mortals. She wanted to create mortals that resembled that gods in both mind and body. But her vision could not come true with dinosaurs still ruling the planet. She ordered them to be destroyed without ever telling Ante.

It ruined her friendship and loyalty for the Queen.

____Even after the rumor that demons interfered with the whole ordeal, Ante refuses to forgive Virtuous. It’s rumored that demons had destroyed all letter about the destruction of the dinosaurs that were supposed to be sent to Ante and that they had forged letters of approval from Ante.
Whatever the truth may be, Ante’s children died in the end. And that’s not something a mother can easily forgive and forget.

Ante does, however have one surviving child. She has a daughter, who is a goddess named Aitema. Ante created Aitema after the destruction of the dinosaurs because she missed taking care of her children. Only Ante’s magic was a part of Aitema’s creation as Ante has no partner and never wants to be in a romantic relationship.

____She loves and supports her daughter, but unfortunately her grief and obsession with retrieving the remains of her dinosaurs sometimes gets in the way of caring for Aitema. Sometimes it makes Aitema feel like her mother cares more about her dead children than her.

Ante wants to better her relationship with her daughter.

Ante has a Guardian that is a Carnotaurus named Carnage. He is not her child because Ante didn’t create him. He was created by Virtuous and she purposely created the Guardian into the shape of one of Ante’s many children because she knew Ante would like it.
