No one really knows exactly what goes through Firstlight's mind, as she tends to keep to herself, recording anything and everything in her notes. She is a part of the duo of strange skydancers who took up the title of 'skywatchers', living on the outskirts of the clan and predicting weather patterns. Firstlight serves as the morning skywatcher.

Since people rarely approach Firstlight, she has a reputation for being very strange, in a rather different way than Halflight. when she does speak to people, Firstlight often speaks in riddles, or cryptic sentences that take a while to figure out. However, her records of the weather and other observations she makes have proven vital to on-goings of the clan, so no one complains about her presence. She seems to enjoy the dawn and the riverside, since those are places in which she has been spotted most.
