 H I S T O R Y 
She was born to a clan in the Wind flight’s territory, and it was a clan that loved her very much. So very much, actually. The only problem was that the little Skydancer was… well, flightless. As in, her wings just wouldn’t work. They tried time and time again to teach her to fly, but it never prevailed. Not being able to fly in the Wind flight was like not being able to cast a shadow in the Tangled Wood. It simply could not be accepted. So as much as they loved Cloudmist, they had no choice but to banish her from the clan. She was officially a reject. Which was sad, since everyone had agreed that she was one of the most beautiful girls they’d ever seen. Cloudmist wandered off, however, sad and dismayed at being cast out. See, she was too young to understand the gravity of the situation as far as food and shelter, but she did understand that her family had tossed her out like yesterday’s meal. She kept going until she felt the pain of hunger set in. The tiny Skydancer ran and hid underneath a rock as a storm started up. there was no way she could make it through this. There was no possible way. Starving and freezing? She was eventually picked up by gentle talons and placed in the arms of a stranger with glittering white wings. Exhausted and weak, she fell right asleep. When she woke up, she was in a cave with multiple huge dragons surrounding her. One came forward and bowed. He told her that they had saved her. She thanked them, asking why. They merely smiled and explained that she was in need, and their code was to help a dragon in need. Then he explained that they had fixed her as well. Confused, Cloudmist looked over herself. Beneath her weak and useless wings were a set of feathery white wings that matched her color perfectly. She grinned, knowing what that meant for her. They were grafted on perfectly, as if she had been born with those wings. Cloudmist leaped up before anyone could stop her. Despite the protests of the others, she jumped off the cliff just outside the cave. And she could fly. She could fly very well. She began to do loops and figure eights, just loving the new feeling of freedom. Nothing could have ruined that moment for her. Cloudmist was finally a real Skydancer. After she became used to her new flying abilities, she decided to settle down with the clan, who accepted her. She lives here now, happily at all times. She is excellent at foraging for food and spends much of her free time hanging out with her mate, Snowfall, Lilacsky or occasionally with the hatchlings of the clan.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Cloudmist is also very brave. She doesn’t take others just pushing her around, and she has no problem standing up for what she knows is right. Unlike most dragons, this one doesn’t stand by when something bad is happening. She has her opinions and is very stubborn with them. Not in a bad way. She just takes a stand and doesn’t waver on how she feels. Cloudmist would rather die than, even for a second, pretend to be something she isn’t. Above all else, she values honesty and loyalty. Cloudmist believes that, with both of those, a true friendship can last forever. She does not fear others’ disapproval of her, and being bullied has never been a big problem for her. Even those who occasionally scorn her cause her little to no pain. Cloudmist is a very calm and calculating Skydancer when it comes to being under pressure. If something dangerous is happening, she will back up and assess everything before making a move. This is why she rarely makes big mistakes. She thinks that being reckless is entirely irresponsible. She is not perfect, despite what you may think. Like all other dragons, she has a fatal flaw. Hers is the desire to please the one individual that she can never please: her own mother. Her mother was more disappointed than anyone when Cloudmist could not fly, and that cut in deep. Cloudmist does love flight and the freedom that comes with it. Ever since this clan gave her the extra support in the air, allowing her to take off, Cloudmist has been adventurous and daring. She is also very curious and loves to learn new things. Either way, she is great at socializing and making friends, and she is loved by most, if not all, the dragons who have the pleasure of meeting her.
