Biography
"I guess you could say 'Winning was easy, governing is harder!'" Sobek shot back. "Seriously, I know what I'm doing. I don't even want to be king. What are the chances of me being king anyways? You are obviously so perfect at it!" -Day 25
"How dare you! Every important moment like this needs a song!" Sobek shot back, then bounded in front of Patrick, who was leading the way. -Day 27
Sobek and Iwan were out hunting. They had learned from their father that hunting in pairs was the most efficient for mirrors. They agreed. Despite Sobek's singing, they worked very well as a team and had become quite powerful together. When they got back to camp, they found the members Gathering. It seemed that the larger clan that they were living on the land of had decided they could no longer stay there. The time had come for the family to split up. Even though they argued almost constantly, Iwan and Sobek agreed they would have to stay together. Vaille and Patrick felt the same, and Averie and Stelian had already made a deal with the bigger clan that meant they could stay. Susan planned to travel more and write about it, and so they watched her pack up and saw her off, with many hugs and promises of visits in the future. Vicente and Kalina's future was not decided, as they were young and not all the way capable of good decision-making. On the day they were to leave, all to their respective places, they realized they hadn't chosen or given or had been offered a place for Iwan or Sobek. The brothers chose to go to the Wavecrest Saturnalia celebration, and see if there was a clan that would take them in. Before they left, their parents gave them each a necklace with three birdskulls. One represented their parents, one represented each other, and one was their choice who or what it would represent. Sobek chose Averie, and Iwan left his undecided. After Vaille had completed their charms, they all went their separate ways. Iwan and Sobek flew across the sea, stopping only to eat and sleep. They knew they only had two more days left in the Wavecrest Saturnalia, so they had to get to the festival quickly. On the first night after a day of snacks and catnaps, Iwan and Sobek touched down on a large piece of coral that stuck up from the water to form a tiny island, roughly the size of a small imperial. Iwan and Sobek put down their small bags of possessions and dove into the water to hunt. The problem was, they had never really hunted in the water. Pretty soon they had discovered the basics of how to swim, but had no luck with speed, agility, or catching fish of any kind. For the past while, they had thought someone or something was watching them. Worried about any unknown denizens of the deep, they pulled themselves up, sodden foot by sodden foot onto their tiny island. They were tired and hungry, so in desperation, they ate the little rations they had left in their packs. It was then they noticed that the packs themselves were gone. Everything that was in them had remained. The brothers were confused, but they were also tired, and decided they would sort it out in the morning. When they woke up, two pairs of white gloves were sitting in front of them. They picked them up and when an examination proved they were good, they put on the gloves. They fitted perfectly. Thoroughly confused, the brothers dove into the water to hunt. For the whole morning, they hunted in the water, trying to propel themselves fast enough to catch fish. When it was lunchtime, and they still hadn’t caught anything, they reviewed their options. They could keep looking for food, or they could go to a nearby clan for help. Iwan decided that they would ask for a clan's help, with Sobek humming to himself quietly and following.

Please imagine me singing this because I am a singing goob. I think a bird just ran into the window. I am a derg. I am a mirror but that doesn't mean you can look at me and see yourselfa as a reflection. It's just a dragon species, please, get it right, I am a derg. I am a derg. I am a derg. Look at my smile as a am a mirror dragon. Every mirror baby is forced to smile. -Written by HauntedWhale
