Rosemary
The Eldest  Rosemary is a low-key dragon like her father. She was the first to hatch from Basil and Jade's first clutch, and the only one of the three daughters to chose living with the clan over exalting to the Gladekeeper. As her parents are the head of the clan, she feels she has a duty to carry herself with honor and dignity, never wanting to soil the good name of the Lupine clan. She tries to teach this to her younger siblings when they are not busy training to leave for the Viridian Guard. She does have her playful moments, however. Especially with Chi and Mage, two dragons similar in age. She's not as rough-and-tumble as Chi, nor as proficient in magic as Mage, but she's a great median between them and is an excellent navigator in their forest home. The only clan member who makes her tick, is the Plague Yig. Quote:

I can't believe it's finally happening! Jade tried to keep her voice low in front of the quivering triplet eggs. She shifted her weight, almost hopping from foot to foot. With one broad, white wing she held up the foliage the seeds had been resting under, letting the first rays of early morning sun kiss the shells and encourage the hatchlings to come alive. Look at that one... Basil's voice was always quiet, but his excitement was evident with all of his satin fins facing forward, and his tail coiling around itself. The egg he had gestured to was split open, and the tiny new Fae slithered out, trying to land on her hind feet. She looked bewildered when she toppled forward, but with downy nest material to catch her, there wasn't anything for the new parents to fret about. As her wings dried, she worked out how to use her tail to brace herself up, and after surveying her beaming parents, she turned to watch the remaining eggs hatch.
