Amaryllis is a master with her claws. They're so razor sharp that touching one could split your skin like a rotten fruit, so she takes great care trying not to harm those around her with a simple touch. She would like to avoid another incident—as a hatchling, she clipped her wings by accident. Those wicked scythe claws grow constantly; to combat this, she carves stone to wear them down. Shockingly, this doesn't dull them at all, no matter how hard the rock is. With a talent like that, she decided it would be best to carve stone, as she needed to wear her claws down anyway. The first thing she did was carve herself a pair of wings, painstakingly creating each feather from a rainbow, shale-like rock. They're so thin that they weigh almost nothing, and since they’re merely decorative, she likes to drape finery on them. She carves everything from caverns to hollow rocks, providing shelter for her fellow clan members. They each get their own room, and in the case of mated pairs she will carve out bigger homes for them. She also made the alcoves the nesting grounds reside in, putting them in their own air pockets with deep sea plants providing the fresh air they needed. Her generosity stops at the clan, however. If you want to make use of her skills, be prepared to hand over a hefty sack of treasure. She carved an enormous lair for herself a small ways away from the clan where she stores her hoard of precious metals and jewels, and she is prepared to kill any dragon trying to steal from her. |
