Kallias was a young tundra hatchling when a tiny fae fell on him. He was playing with a colony of lady bugs when the top of his fluffy head felt a smack. The tiny fae, Skaldi, apologized in a rather flat tone, her eyes twitching to the lady bugs beneath him. While a growing boy his age needs to eat as much as possible, he gave the tiny fae the bugs since he preferred the plants they ate. Having a rather small attention span, the young tundra soon forgot about the weird fae and moved on, playing with the red and black froghoppers.

It wasn't until his clan past by a rather bare camp that Kallias once again found himself face to body with the fae he met not too long ago. She was accompanied by a spiral that wouldn't stop zipping around to say anything other than hi and a big fluffy tundra. Still a young hatchling, Kallias ignored what the grown dragons talked about and watched as the spiral made loops in the sky and dreamed of doing it himself. Now, he knew that he was different from other tundras, but he dreamed of traveling and zooming through the sky as fast as a spiral. Before he knew it, his mother's warm aura was around him and giving him a tight squeeze. He didn't understand everything; he only knew that he was going to stay with this weird trio and that his clan was moving on. While everyone in his old clan moved on, Kallias looked up at the energetic spiral and smiled: This odd bunch could teach him to fly like her.

Kallias didn't know what he was worst at: flying as a tundra or being a tundra. He hated everything about it, so his new clan helped him change. Skaldi knew of a powerful sorcerer who could change your very being, for a price of course. After many months, Kallias went from an all basic tundra to a beautiful skydancer with intricate, beautiful fur. Kallias initially wanted to be a spiral like the beautiful Caladorn, but the sorcerer refused; Kallias was meant to be a skydancer and would be happiest as one. And the sorcerer was right.

Kallias was able to soar through the sky with Caladorn and the two became best friends quickly. With Kallias' new abilities as a skydancer, he even knew that Caladorn loved him as much as he did. The two quickly became mates; however, they don't have children together. As a whole, the clan developed the skydancers' traditions of talking to everyone before having children, and it was decided Kallias and Caladorn wouldn't have children together. The two still very much love each other, but they can't have children together if they both want to be involved in the hatchlings' care since they're the two main warriors in the clan. Kallias feared Caladorn would leave them for those reasons, but she stayed. The fact that Kallias took the time to care for every hatchilng--every hatchling in the clan--was the exact reason she fell in love with him.

Plus, who else can keep up with a spiral?
