Viridris had a mild case of wanderlust since a relatively young age, spurred on mostly by her mild disdain for the other members of her birth clan, who were generally not 'cultured' enough for her liking. On one of her many sojourns into the Tangled Woods, she passed through the territory of Clan Nightshade. Though she was oblivious to it at the time, she was being tailed by the area's resident troublemaker, who'd been sent out to gather insects. Shardas had every intention to spook the female away from their hunting grounds in his usual fashion, but much to his surprise and dismay, his perfectly timed drop from a nearby tree was met only with surprise and faint amusement.

Though Viridris returned to her birth clan that evening, her interest had been piqued. It wasn't long before she returned to the Tangled Wood with the intention of taking up residence, bringing her rather sizeable wardrobe with her. She quickly won over her new clanmates with her practical, level-headed personality, and was granted a small den near the stream at the eastern edge of camp.

Though her interest in the mischevious Fae from the Sunbeam Ruins was plain to many, Viridris found her desires impeded by Shardas's own obliviousness. Miffed, Viridris resolved to turn the usual custom on its head, and quickly began courting him. Bewildered by the charming female's generosity and affections, Shardas resolved to respond to the onslaught in the only way he knew how- with a prank. Much to his surprise, the article of clothing he'd been intending to 'borrow' was the very same item Viridris had been intending to gift to him.

Since Shardas's gracious acceptance of the Haori, Viridris has moved into his den, where she's assumed the noble task of outfitting the clan's less fashion-savvy. Many dragons speculate that Shardas's increased interest in bracelets and other jewelry stems from his desire to impress her.
