The eldest of The Director's three daughters, Arcadia shuns her mother's obsession with science and has instead thrown herself into the mysteries of the Arcane. She spends her time reading Tarot, divining with pendulums and staring for hours into obsidian mirrors, desperately trying to see what sort of future her mother's actions are going to create. But besides her fear of what The Director may reap, she still is focused on creating a bond with her, and will often lounge in her lab for hours to hear of her mother's time in the Arcane flight. Most others in the clan are nervous to interact with her due to her foreboding demeanor, and because of this she leads quite a lonely life. Thus, her role lies in divining, and despite her mother's insistence that her abilities would be better utilized in the pursuit of science, her divine guidance is still, begrudgingly, considered.
Arcadia is quiet for a moment. "My mother was the only person in camp who really intended to raise a family, so we were always something special both to her and to the Greenhouse. Even so, right around the time we hatched was when she made her first major breakthrough with the Shade. She couldn't take care of us, so we were sent back to the Omegon for my other mother to raise us instead," she says, fiddling with a loose string on her silks. "My time in The Omegon was... well, I'll be honest, I-" Her voice catches in her throat. She breathes for a moment before continuing, "...I'm here now. So are Sloane and uh... Lani. I'm sorry. I-I can't talk about it anymore."
