Kiirul is a soft-spoken young dragon, well-mannered and courteous, but he has no obvious remarkable abilities. He isn’t unpleasant to look at, but he’s not remarkable in terms of his appearance, either. In fact, the only real thing of note about that is how similar he is to a Firefly. But unlike his sister, Alaana, Kiirul does not resent his wings, nor his heritage. He may not take great pride in it, either, but no one really knows, because he politely turns the subject away whenever it is brought up.

Kiirul’s tendencies have led him down a path that he does not completely understand. He has a fiery spirit, though not one that shines so bright as that of his sister, yet he chose not to become a mage like her. This choice perhaps came about because he didn’t want to give Alaana the chance to outshine him, instead choosing to wait and hopefully distinguish himself in some other field. He trains in weaponry with Nadra, expertly wielding a blade, but he hasn’t decided if he wishes to become one of the Alliance’s warriors. Kiirul has also studied under Kaiilla, learning her strategies as a diplomat for the clan. His parents are proud that he is learning such a broad selection of skills, and have high hopes for him, though they avoid telling him such to prevent him from feeling pressured.
