Personality
Neko is a little fluffball of love who genuinely believes he's a cat. Sure, he's a cat with wings, but that doesn't make a difference to him. He even purrs, making a rumbling sort of hum. He used to spend all of his time running around with Elros; now, he runs around with the clan's hatchlings, or plays with string. He hoards the stuff. Rope is his absolute favorite, but even chains will do in a pinch.
Every now and then, he still visits Elros, but he prefers not to. He feels guilty for what happened to his friend, and prefers to be a happy kitty-dragon.
String, Neko decided, was the best thing to ever exist on the planet. The only thing that was possibly better than string was pet dragons, and he had lots of them. They petted his feathers for him and kept them clean, and in return he'd always found them things. It was only nice, wasn't it?
He brought them all sorts of things. Weird things. Shiny things. Big things and little things. Once, he even gave them a hatchling that he'd found wandering around, a little guy named Elros. Neko called him Best Friend, and they played a lot. Sometimes, they played Chase, and Neko always won. Other times, they played War, and Neko still won. Neko always won, even when Best Friend said he won. Best Friend was just bad at understanding the rules Neko made.
Neko was good at everything, especially High Places. High Places was the best game, but Best Friend hadn't really liked it. He never played anymore. Neko went to get him to play sometimes, but shoving him didn't make him wake up and play Chase anymore. All Best Friend ever did was lie there. It made Neko sad. Best Friend was not Best Friend anymore, just Friend. And then he was Old Friend, and then Neko just called him Dragon. He never visited Dragon anymore. String was better than Dragon. String moved and played. Dragons could give him string.
