Acheron

Acheron (or "Archie" to his friends) is the clan's self appointed minstrel.
When he found his way to the clan at a young age, he had trouble finding his place. One night, he poured his heart out to a piece of parchment. This would be his first piece of poetry. It would later be lost to a storm, and Archie would forget its content, but he'd never forget the way it felt.
Young Archie took it upon himself to make sure his clan would be remembered, at least on paper.
He was discouraged, for a long time, when no one paid much attention to him. But Horkos, the clan's only legitimate healer, encouraged him to keep writing. She told him that someday, maybe not now, but someday, the clan would see him as a great writer instead of just another lost hatchling.

Years later, he earned his place. The warrior Lethe had slain a dozen monsters threatening the clan and was wounded in the battle. As her life dwindled, Archie sang. For the first time, he sang with his heart, full of grief rather than pride - for Lethe had been his first friend in the clan. He sang and he sang and a crowd gathered. He sang of her brilliance and strength, her beauty and grace. He sang of love and loss, and Lethe stopped breathing.
And Lethe started breathing again. The healers (legitimate and not quite so) rushed to her side as she opened her eyes and smiled up at him.

Even later still, they married. Their children were as brave as their mother and as loyal as their father, though they were lost in battle to the Arcanist. Now, they live together happily, both respected by the rest of the clan. Lethe is still a warrior, and Archie is officially the clan's only minstrel - though he spends most of his time singing about how wonderful his wife is and fighting to keep his familiar, Trunks, off of his parchment.
Sometimes, Horkos sends a knowing smile his way, and he wonders just how much she knew would happen.
