As far as the circle is concerned, Shiitake just turned up one day. After particularly heavy rains, the caves are prone to mushroom growth, and while Mistral was foraging the new, tasty intrusions, she discovered a tiny bogsneak, curled up beneath the caps. To this day no-one can agree on quite how she got there, or where she actually came from - but Mistral took her in as her own, so that was that.

Despite her small size, Ake is capable of incalculable chaos - the alchemists and cooks are well aware that leaving any sort of fungus in her reach will result in it's consumption, and everyone else is sure to keep valuables at a safe height. Anything shiny (regardless of actual value) has a habit of disappearing around here.

> She has a little sideroom in the clan cave where she grows mushrooms for the clan to cook with or use in potions. She likes to sleep in there, and often it's very hard for the casual passerby or dragon with a task at hand to spot her nestled in there.

> Shittake begs _ constantly to take her with them on their trips to the tangled wood and cave systems beneath dragonhome, as she is always looking to expand her mushroom collection.

> Riqa was given to ake as a gift from whisper. Ake thinks Riqa is the best friend ever, because she makes mushrooms from her feet. Chasing games between the two are common, but slow-paced, as every two seconds Ake will stop to consume the newly grown mushrooms in her familiar's wake.

she's so silly she doesn't understand that the mushrooms have properties
she just thinks they're fun and a good shape
mistral, the gardener, is constantly pulling her out of trouble and taking her to oriel whenever she ingests some forgein mushroom.
"what did you eat? ake, tell me! we need to know!"
"mushie!!"
"yes, we know it was a mushroom, but what type?"
"yellow!!"
then they have to spend five hours pouring over oriel's medicinal herb tomes and cross-referencing the symptoms to the appearance so they can actually give ake the antidote.
