Biography

Vokhra was previously part of the Sentry order. His name means loyal and honorable. The Seeker order had been long disbanded when Vokhra came of age, but he had always been interested in the concept of hunting Shade-monsters. Most of the work of a sentry involved keeping outsiders from wandering too close to the gaols in the Fortress of Ends. The Sentry order had been cut in half with the reinstatement of the Seeker order, however that did not translate to more work for the remaining sentries, as having more gaolers roaming the surface allowed them to prevent many intrusions long before the intruder would have approached the Fortress of Ends. When word came that banescale dragons had reemerged, the Wardens held a Gathering and decided to send out more seekers to investigate how much of a threat the new generation of banescale may be and whether the Shade had been involved in their rebirth. Vokhra volunteered to become a seeker and was assigned to patrol the Frigid Floes with Revel. Since the reawakening of the Forbidden Portal, they have been assigned to assist in detaining the monsters that are being released from it in the nearby Starfall Isles.

Vokhra is a rule follower with an excellent memory for details. As a sentry, he became a light sleeper and is always attentive and ready to react. Although capable in battle, Vokhra prefers to fight only if necessary and will attempt to subdue enemies nonviolently if possible. His voice rumbles like a purr, which often attracts cats to sleep near him when he is speaking.
