Archivist always loved the library and reading the lore of others, but one day she picked a cursed book off the shelf and was sucked into the pages.

Years later the book was opened again, and she emerged, but two dimensional. The experience gave her the ability to read between the lines, as it were, and see the events and fantasies described in the books as if she were looking through the author's eyes. She still spends a lot of time in the library, but jumping into the books to chronicle sornieth's history instead of just picking them up to read.
