Legion is a light-born warrior, and extremely proud of his heritage, he was once the knight-commander of the guard who patrolled the edge of the Hewn City. Years passed, and his feet began to itch, and he felt himself being pulled South, the scent of molten rock and blasted land carrying on the wind. Feeling the Lightweaver's hand on his shoulder, he and his partner, the enormous Sunbeam Ursa, Baurus, he trekked South, first through the Shifting Expanse, then on to the Ashfall Waste. The shift to The Wyrmwound had been a contentious issue for Legion. He'd never had pleasant interactions with the Plaguelanders, finding them to be tricky, dangerous, underhanded, and very hard to kill. However, he felt his duty protecting the clan was more important than his misgivings, and was a great aid in making the transition from Fire to Plague as smooth and safe a journey as possible, because his love of Cinderstorm outweighed all else. Moving to the Hewn City was bittersweet for Legion. While he rejoiced at the idea of returning to his native lands of the Sunbeam Ruins, the Sunsear Consortium's decision to settle deep underground in some ruins of the Hewn City set a chill deep in his gut. While he was aware there were more dangerous areas (he had heard rumor of clans settling close to where Luminax prowled, though he hoped he was mistaken), he was an expert on the Hewn City's dangers, having been Knight Commander of the guard that kept the horrors of the city in, while keeping the general population out. The Consortium had been keeping their reasoning for the move close to the chest. though Legion wondered if they'd trod on too many talons while living in the Wyrmwound, and needed somewhere more isolated to operate out of. Putting his feelings aside for the sake of the clan, Legion set about training more clan members in combat, to provide better protection for those who were less capable. Lightweaver knows, they were going to need it.  |
