Jade

Adopted from the Zero Ward, Ena was a welcome and beloved addition to Clan Rayya. She immediately bonded very well with Kristophsis and heartily enjoys the company of her new clanmates. Her specialty is the identification, collection, and use of various plants- she functions as apothecary ~~(and occasionally poisons master)~~ for the clan, assisted by her familiar as well as the golem known as Jade, who grows what she needs in a small herb garden, not far from her hut. She's a bit miffed by the "remedies" sold by Melusine, often grumbling that the Spiral doesn't offer real healing, but no one has replaced her healing with Mel's product, so she really can't complain too much.

When Jade was grievously injured, Talizorah called upon Ena to create for the Spiral a new body, claiming he still had work to do. Ena obliged, growing out of flexible young trees a spitting (if a bit hollow) image of a Spiral male in his prime. Once Talizorah and Karou put the male's soul into the golem, Ena volunteered to take him under her wing, allowing him to help in the gathering and growing of the clan's plants.

After the first Jade passed away, deciding to let his soul go to the Arcanist, Ena went a little mad with grief, missing her partner's presence at her side. Trying to appease her, another dragon was welcomed to the clan and given the name Jade, their genes making them look tree-like, but there was no going halfway. Ena wanted Jade properly as he was: her tree-golem. She built another body for the new Jade in the privacy of her workshop and insisted that the clan move her partner to the correct body. Knowing better than to cross the mad Imperial, Karou performed her duties, moving Jade's soul to the golem form after he'd been made to believe that his flesh-and-blood body was failing him. Ena is overjoyed to have her partner back, even if he is lacking some of the knowledge he had when he left her.

And see, the Leechroot and the Corpsemaker together make a wonderful anesthetic poultice when applied to the skin. If ingested, however... Well. You know.
