Jaden

Jaden is the (somewhat moody) newest clan mage, and as such he was treated with some degree of suspicion at first. Eventually it came out that he had left his old home after a potion nearly severely injured his partner-it was later discovered that a rival mage/alchemist had sabotaged the potion, though they had not intended to do Axinite, Jaden's partner at the time (and later mate) any harm.

A person's past, when tumultuous, rarely ever stays in the past, and that kept true for Jaden; a year or so into his new life in the clan, his old partner, Axinite, returned, and their relationship picked back up again, to the point where they married, Jaden proposing with a gorgeous set of apparel that he crafted specifically for him.

Jaden is seen as very smart (for a Tundra), and while that mildly miffs him, what really upsets him is when Axinite, who isn't the smartest in terms of knowledge, is the one whose intelligence is called into question. As Axinite hates conflict nearly as much as he hates violence, he will flee when he feels insulted or hurt. Most of the time the people who hurt him didn't mean to, and will quickly apologize, but Jaden is in the process of insuring that everyone knows how much Axinite means to him and how smart he is in his own way. He hopes that this will put an end to the accidental insults.
