Oriso

Some thinking done in order to find a place in the lore for Thao. Most of it is incomprehensible until I write out a cleaner version, sorry

• Nuuva's former guardian?
• Associated with Volja to some degree
• Leading force in the Revolution, very anti magical forced leadership
• Idk about his role in Thawing. He's Volja's ally there but he's also lowkey manipulating Volja to do the hard work since by now he's realized controlling Nuu is getting harder and harder and he doesn't like that
• He wanted to lead through Nuuva and got angry when he couldn't
• This would also make more sense for him to not associate with the final Snowsand

Here is the current idea for him (pretty much finalized):
Oriso is a big fool who keeps thinking that he can 4d chess the people around him but then fails and cries about it (big time). First he tries to manipulate the prince to gain more power and then, when it works a bit too well he immediately jumps ship and tries to control someone close to the prince instead but then that guy ends up actually causing a whole revolution and destroying any chance of Oriso getting anywhere with these sneaky little plans. Also now the prince is furious at his betrayal and still growing in power and Oriso is running out of ideas to save himself.

If I ever revision Thawing for a 3rd time, I'm probably going to add a nod to his true intentions by having Volja "accidentally" mention something that ties back to this when he's talking about how Oriso believes in him.

Also, because I have exactly 0 self control, here's (some of) the chess maybe. These are not very well thought out.
-Nuuva is the king piece maybe because I am boring like that.
-Spomb is a rook (real)
-Kiwl is a rook also but he is also dead and dying.
-Oriso is a bishop
-Volia is a pawn that gets promoted into a queen. I have been very explicit about this one. If you know about the chess Oriso thinks he's playing, you know about Volia. Literally it's all over his profile.
-Val (Who? Hahah, shh) is the a Queen that was already captured. :)

CURRENTLY ENVISIONED AS ENDING UP WITH NUUVA AT THE END OF THE REBELLION ARC AS KARMA FOR TRYING TO PLAY ALL SIDES > ENDING WITH THE WORST ONE FOR HIM.
