Now holed up in seclusion outside the clan walls, Swannie mourns for her dear mate. Time passes, but she cannot forget him, for he was torn apart by the current leader of the clan. She is reminded of that day every morning she wakes up to greet the deceased. No longer does she enter the clan walls, for if she did, another blood bath would ensue and she isn't sure who would come out on top. She ponders some days on if she should risk her life for revenge... or risk it in hopes that she would be with her mate again. Amongst the hatchlings, she is known as a ghost because she is never seen but always heard.

Swannie was once an outgoing skydancer who was a skilled warrior, but also enjoyed dancing on the side. Everyone loved her and she was an excellent by her mate's side. She cared for the children to let the weary mothers rest, she made food for everyone so that they may never go hungry, she was the clan's beam of light in this dreary place. But all good things have to come to an end, even if the end is much worse than what was expected.
