Jin


His parents were hardly traditional successful wildclaws, but they tried to give him a good start: hatched on an auspiciously ominous day and named for a proud slaughterous ancestor.

But also hatched with their unfortunately gentle coloring and named a diminutive, not the full Temujin. Maybe it wouldn't have made a difference.


The sweetest, most harmless supposed-to-be-a-murder-machine any dragon has heard of, ever. He burrows in the sand and lets prey come to him. He makes shadow puppets on his wings on bonfire nights. He lets hatchlings paint his claws. He sells (and makes) incense, not continue-to-live-unmaimed grants.

Jin taught Remy the relaxation of stretching out for a nap in the sand, and Remy supplied the pillows for them to do it in comfort on. It's a mutually beneficial friendship.
