Levin lived in Clan Greased Lightning only a week when Fury flew in, ready to fight the entire clan if it meant saving their prince - Prince? What prince? Levin had introduced himself as a traveling bard, not a prince.

Once Levin had calmed them, reassured them that he was staying of his own free will, they told their tale to the others - that Levin was, in fact, the runaway prince of her old and distant clan, who'd left after the suspicious death of his father, under significant pressure from his uncles. As one of the top warriors of the clan, mere steps behind their older sister, Fury had volunteered themself to go searching for him.

What they failed to mention was that he had been their oldest and dearest childhood friend.

It's obvious to all that they're in love with him, and yet they refuses to admit to it - perhaps a misguided sense of duty, and blindness to the fact that he's so clearly in love with them, as well. Perhaps they think that Levin could do better than them.

Or, perhaps, it's Levin who thinks they can do better than him.
