Also known as "Dirtyhands", Kaz Brekker is effectively the leader of Dregs, one of the gangs in the Barrel, in Ketterdam, Kerch. He has a fearsome reputation of doing anything and everything to get what he wants, and he doesn't care who he has to knock down on the way. Kaz has a vendetta against Pekka Rollins for taking his money and causing the death of his brother, Jordie Rietzveld. Kaz has also developed a paranoia of skin on skin touch, and always wears black leather gloves, leading to an onslaught of rumors about his hands.
