Biography

Malavik

Ex-Prince

"I kinda just wanted to be a Mechanical Engineer...?"

When Malavik's mother Cwen ascended to the throne-- or rather made a throne-- Malavik was honestly disappointed. He'd remained in the clan to invent things and to explore, not to sit around in some fake throne room (they'd repurposed one of the storage facilities). He'd rather be sitting in a workshop with a thousand different golem gadgets around himself.
Malavik didn't take the situation-- or anything-- very seriously. He took great pride in his sense of humor (it's awful, really), and tried to make fun in every situation.
But then his mother began her gradual spiral downward.
Malavik didn't know what caused it. His mother had always been tough on him, but she'd only wanted what was best for him... In her raving and pacing, however, she'd hurt him. She lashed out. She laughed. She cried. She...
Malavik couldn't take it anymore, and he nearly left. But his mother left first.
The ex-prince knew he couldn't have done anything; he knew his mother was insane and a tyrant. But he still blamed himself... and he still couldn't help but be relieved when she was finally out of his life.
Malavik's sense of humor is a little more forced now.
