Amadeus came to the Lair of Flurrying Snow as a very young hatchling. He now spends his time discussing clan business with his leader and hanging out with his friends and mate. His dream is to go on a vacation to another flight, but he has a long ways to go!
He likes wordplay and puns, a quirk that deeply annoys Meteor. Amadeus has a habit of not taking things as seriously as he probably should, and he can be pretty obnoxious, which just adds to Meteor’s frustration with him. In fact, Amadeus has perfected the art of getting under the Skydancer’s scales to the point of visible annoyance, something considered a talent among the clan.

HISTORY

Amadeus was not even half a day old when he was dropped on Turquoise and Basalt’s doorstep. They quickly took him in, as their clan was very small and they were seeking recruits. He was a valued member of his new home, helping the leaders make decisions and using his logical insight to assist Turquoise before he was two weeks old. He studied the small amount of maps and books that he managed to get his claws on obsessively, thirsting for the chance to see the rest of Sornieth. As the lair expanded and more dragons were welcomed, Amadeus was able to question them about their past experiences in their flights. Their comments and stories made him long to visit another flight, to experience the rustling of leaves and calls of birds in the Nature flight, the lapping waves and salty breezes of the Water flight, the flickering darkness and the eerie aura of the Shadow flight. After a month or so, he decided he wanted to find happiness not somewhere, but in someone. And he discovered that that happiness lay in Carissima, a beautiful golden Imperial. After an hour of talking to the radiant dragon, he couldn't stop thinking about her. She was soon welcomed into the Lair of Flurrying Snow. He rarely is seen without her somewhere nearby.
Amadeus believes his children will someday find the same joy he did, welcomed by their clan, or wherever they end up. He and Carissima couldn't be more content where they are.
