There are many members of the clan that live out their lives within the city, held prisoner by its crystalline walls or else comfortable within them. She can never tell what it is that holds them there now that the warlord has fallen and they are free to come and go. She has never been one for streets and walls, for feeling enclosed. Hers has been a life of adventure, challenge, victory and strife, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Alabaster is loosely affiliated with the dragons of the city, seeking her fortunes in the frozen wilds that surround the glacier as she helps to defend the lands from the shade-touched beasts, escorts travelers to and from the city, and seeks whatever fortunes she may find. These days she likes to live a more quiet kind of life, but for her that requires a certain amount of... insurance, shall we say. The warrior's stipend Brightwinter provides is generous, but it is the solitude, and of course the loot she can turn for a profit on her infrequent forays into civilization, that really makes it all worth it. What does someone who lives alone in the wilderness need with so much treasure? ...You know, it's probably better if you don't ask. MORE Most in Brightwinter who know her, know her as a wildlands wanderer and skilled huntress, the one to go to if you need a bushel of antlers and pelts in the turn of a moon's time, or an escort through a particularly dangerous region. Fewer know that she can be hired for more specialized jobs... to get rid of a certain someone, to acquire a certain thing that can't be easily inquired about in more civilized company... she can get it done and get it done discreetly, or else point you in the right direction, if she thinks you've got discretion. And, of course, there will be the matter of a reasonable fee.... AWAKENED FAMILIARS
