Careful in both mind and body, Koete is the opposite of her mate's lack of concern for risk. She thinks carefully before doing anything, which can be an annoyance to others, and her constant exhaustion only complicates matters. She prefers to avoid doing anything physical, as she bleeds and bruises too easily to risk it.
She adores her mate, despite his occasional moments of idiocy, and is trying to get him to ignore the glowshrooms on the walls.

Mom,
It's been a little while, I suppose, but I thought you might like to hear from me. You have no idea how hard it was to sneak this letter out of the clan. I was lucky that Sylvia was willing to take it for me, or else you wouldn't hear from me.

This place is great This place isn't too bad. There's enough food, which is nice, and the other Coatls are like me nice. I met someone; his name is Kowareta. He's a bit stupid strange, but there's something about him that I can't move away from. Was it like this when you met Dad, or am I as crazy as they make me out to be?

The clan I'm living in is at war with everyone is a bit aggressive, but it's alright. I'm not expected to fight. I even get my own room; isn't that great? I chose to share it with Kowareta so I can keep an eye on him. He keeps trying to eat the glowshrooms, which is probably the worst thing he could do. I did say he was strange. That's why.

I'm a bit sick, but I'll be okay for a little while. It's nothing important; Kowarera is sick too, and he's alright. Don't worry about it. If you have to worry, worry about him eating the glowshrooms.
