B I O G R A P H Y

Gurkain sat beside Fretus during all of her exploits, including the one that ended in their call for execution by The Shadowbinder, playing a large role in her ability to pull them off at all. He stepped in when things started to get too hot, watched the Clan when she was away and insured no one stepped out of line, and, most importantly, acted as a lie detector.

He never particularly cared for treasure, but it made Fretus happy. So, of course, he began finding ways he could assist. Smelling lies was surprisingly integral to cheating others out of everything they owned. As a result of attending most of her meetings and staying around Fretus more so than any other Dragon, he was the one that fought off most assassination attacks, and as such bears scars.

But he doesn't regret anything, and would do it all again. His treasure is Fretus, and he would see her happy above all else.
