Grasping Ember's letter in your hand, you continue the search for Sanguine. All of a sudden, fatigue overcomes you, As you stumble upon a cluttered cottage inside of the clan, you decide it wouldn't hurt to take a look inside. As you peer through one of the many gaping holes in the wall, you find a slim dragon wearing an interesting choice of clothing wielding the most beautiful sword you have ever seen. A bright gleam coming from the tip of the sword catches your eye and you stare at it for a few minutes. The Wildclaw walks away, seeming to be searching for something.

You jump as a huge eye peers back at you through the hole in the wall. It is the Wildclaw. "I'm sorry for interrupting, but I-" The dragon smiles at you and beckons you in. You realise this dragon is a lot older than you reckoned at first. "A visitor! I am so happy to see you, whoever you are! You haven't happened to see my red satchel full of gems, have you? I am in the middle of wielding one of my many beautiful swords, and I need a finishing touch!" You now understand that this dragon is friendly, and you point to the crimson bag with gems spilling from it. You wonder how the Wildclaw did not notice it; it was right beside the table they were working at. "Ah, yes! Thank you ever so much!" The dragon exclaimed. "I'm guessing that you have noticed my poor lack of knowledge," he lowered his voice "Ember doesn't give a wild gooseberry about the health of us dragons... Sanguine was a much better leader." The Wildclaw's eyes gazed around, as if this Ember might be near.

"Speaking of Ember and Sanguine... What exactly happened between them?" you question. "Young one, that is not my story to tell... Even if I was willing to, I would be killed for it. Ember wants to keep it on the down-low, if you know what I'm saying... He doesn't like word spreading to other clans." You ponder this for a moment, then ask: "Do you mind if I stay here for a while? I have something that belongs to Ember that has been lost for a long time now, and I want to find the right time to present him with it. I also think I might be able to fix things between Ember and Sanguine..." The dragon nods and gathers some straw and a tattered, worn-out blanket that seemed to be about 50 years and lays them on the ground next to a plush, silk bed with a soft quilt over it.

To your surprise, when you begin to lie down on the thrown-together bed, the Wildclaw shakes his head and nods to the comfy bed. "If you are going to try and solve anything at any stage, you need only the best treatment I can give you!" he told you. He then lowered his voice again as you began to insist he take the more luxurious bed. "don't worry, us here clanmates are well used to giving this kind of treatment to Ember." You argue no more and jump into the bed. After all, you have to take a long journey to wherever this Ember is in a few days.
