 His father, talented and disciplined magician who even managed to open portals to different dimensions, forced Leidran to study magic too, literally ignoring all the other aspects of life. His mother never opposed, believing that Leidran's poetic mind would develop if he reads and learns difficult magic books. Should it be said that he hated magic? Sneaking away from dusty grimoires and skipping sessions of casting spells, Leidran ended up figuring a lot out on his own - about hunting, battling, grooming, exploring and surviving in general. The art of communication is what he still lacks, though - Leidran still can't overcome his worry of being ignored or rejected if he voices his own opinion. Now, living on his own, he is glad no one urges him to study magic, but still he misses his parents and lair sometimes. He even uses magic sometimes, when no one's watching, and wonders if casting was always actually nice. Leidran might feel pretty comfortable being alone and keeping silence for solid months, which he easily performs thanks to his mate, but other dragons of the clan are already being curious about his past, about stories he may tell, about his strange name, and soon he wouldn't be able to avoid friendly contacts.
